Andrew Stetson

6'1" tall Andrew Stetson was born in 1979 in Oakville, Ontario is a Canadian supermodel.

The muscular and blue eyed Andrew Stetson began his career as a carpenter. Then, he was discovered by a modeling agent Norwayne Anderson of the NAM agency at the age of 19.

"I spotted him at a bar and circled him for half an hour so I could see him from every angle," his agent says of the brown haired supermodel. "It was his lips and eyes that got me."

After a year of modeling in New York and Europe, Andrew Stetson returned to renovating homes, starting his own home renovation business, Stetson Designs Inc. He says, "I worked right away, doing editorial and catalogues in New York, Paris and Milan. But I really missed carpentry. I missed building things."

Five years later his friends convinced him to return to modeling. He has since walked for top fashion shows, and has appeared in ad campaigns for Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Zara, Calvin Klein, Levi's, Bloomingdales, and H&M. Despite his successful modeling career Andrew Stetson says he wants to return to carpentry.

"I'm making the most of modelling. But to be honest, I would rather go back to carpentry. I love carpentry. It's not work to me. And it keeps me grounded and balanced. There are not a lot of models who have something else to fall back on."

In August 2006, Stetson signed a three-year contract becoming the face of Calvin Klein's new cologne, Euphoria.

Andrew Stetson is currently engaged to his elementary school sweetheart and they plan on marrying in 2008.

Born in Sao Jose Dos Campos, near São Paulo Brazil in 1982 from a Japanese father and Portuguese-Brazilian mother, Aline Nakashima was discovered 17 years later in 1999 at a model tryout in Brazil.

Raised in Brazil the fresh-faced Aline Nakashima possesses the sort of exotic looks and 34 - 24 - 35 figure are that one generally associates with a jet-setting supermodel. She initially wanted to be a dance teacher. At the encouragement of her family and friends she decided to attend a modeling tryout when she was 17. She was hired on the spot by the Marilyn Agency in São Paulo.

Aline spent the next several years taking on any gig she could find, and eventually began appearing in print ads and commercial spots for such esteemed names as Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.

Since then the 5'9" tall freckled Aline Nakashima has modelled for ALDO, Armani Exchange, DKNY, GAP, Esprit, Kenneth Cole 'Reaction' fragrance, Lycra, MAC, Morgan, Mercedes-Benz, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Playtex, Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sephora, Triumph International and Victoria's Secret.

Fashion Clothes Models

“We as an industry have begun need to take action. We are starting to see the negative effects of individuals designing and make clothes on their own, It is hurting our business now, but in the long term it will be devastating to our livelihood,” said McCartney at a press conference. “What we have learned from watching the struggle the music industry has endured is that we need to take an aggressive approach to protect our business. What really brought this home for me was a conversation I had with my father and hearing him talk about the hardship music piracy has caused him. This is taking food out of the mouths of retailers, designers, and models. Um, well maybe not so much the last one but you get the picture.”

‘Fashion for Fashion’ will comprise high profile designers as well models and support personnel from all across the industry. The focus will not only be on advocacy, but also on aiding those hurt by potential economic downturn.

But what people don’t see are the behind the scenes people whose lives have been devastated by this piracy. Show producers, photographers, fit models; these are all people that are hurt by this dishonest practice.”

The announcement has understandably caused an outcry amongst those in the home design industry. Singer, one of the largest sewing machine manufacturers in the world, hit back against the plans.
“We have worked hand in hand with the fashion industry for years providing support equipment for nearly every major fashion line in history. We see this as an attack against our core consumers and the lifeblood of our business model,” said a spokesperson for the company. “We will of course work with ‘Fashion for Fashion’ to come to a reasoned and rational resolution to this issue.”

“With the rise of discounted clothing at places like Wal-Mart it is totally unnecessary for people to make their own clothing anymore,” continued McCartney. “There was a time when people had no option but to make their own clothes but that just isn’t the case anymore. This is the Twenty-first century .There was a time when people had to build their own houses but that just isn’t the case anymore. We have outlawed making your own liquor, making your own CDs and DVDs, now it is time to outlaw making your own clothing. We cannot allow pirates to destroy our industry. There may be some hardships, but we all need to make sacrifices for the betterment of everyone, or at least for
